As part of the BFI's Coast and Sea project, Malojian maestro, Stevie Scullion, has been working with filmmaker Colm Laverty on a series of audio-visual collaborations that creatively repurpose content from Northern Ireland Screen's Digital Film Archive.

The latest installment is the sublime video for 'Ambulance Song'. The woozy, daydream nostalgia of the tune is beautifully complemented by a video that draws on the 1950s' revival spirit of the Spence BrothersGreenisland Rock, with excerpts from the original film seamlessly stitched together with new footage and far-out effects.

'Ambulance Song' is the second release from forthcoming album, Let Your Weirdness Carry You Home. The album, along with Laverty's series of archive-based videos, will be showcased this Saturday with a special performance at the Portico of Ards. Tickets available here.
