Description

The new RNLI boat is callled out in Bangor harbour to help a boat in “distress”. The Mayor makes the emergency call. 

Notes

The RNLI was founded as the Royal National Institution for the Preservation of Lives and Property from Shipwreck in 1824. Thirty years later in 1854, its name changed to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

The RNLI is a charity and 95% of its workers are volunteers.
