Description

Film made by local film maker Archie Reid, showing the Antrim Coast Road. The viewer journeys through the history and beautiful landscape of this area.

We see Ballygally Castle Hotel and its haunted room, Glenarm, the Londonderry Arms Hotel, Carnlough, the Glens of Antrim, Glenariff, Cushendun, Loughareema (The Vanishing Lake), Ballycastle, Whitepark, Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway,

Notes

Ballygally castle dates to the 17th century.

There has been a castle on the site of Glenarm since the 13th centurry, the current castle dates to the 17th century, It is the home of the Earl of Antrim. 

The Londonderry Arms Hotel was once owned by Winston Churchill, and was built in 1847.

Dunluce castle dates to the 16th century.
