Description

Shauna Lowry and Cathal O'Shannon present this travel series which explores destinations at home and abroad, with information provided on typical budgets and holiday package deals.

Beginning in Turkey by Kusadasi or the "Turkish Riviera", Cathol explores tourist spots such as the proposed location of where the Virgin Mary died, a place of pilgrimage for both Christians and Muslims due to it being mentioned over 30 times in the Quran. Other spots include the famous Calcium baths and ruins from ancient Roman civilisation - the best outside Pompeii!

Shauna this week is in Co. Mayo, where she experiences the best places to fish, the seaweed baths and Foxford woollen mills with a stay in Mount Falcon Castle giving a truly authentic experience.

Ending the programme are backpackers Andrew Catherwood and Niamh Walsh who have begun their inter-railing journey in the Belgium town of Bruges.
