Description

Dr William Conway was enthroned as Archbishop of Armagh, Catholic Primate of Ireland, at a lavish ceremony held at Armagh Cathedral. This footage catches much of the pomp and splendour of the event as well as a garden interview with the new Archbishop. Also captured in the film are some of the dignitaries attending, including the President of the Republic of Ireland, Eamon De Valera.
