Description

In the series premiere of Check it Out - the show that brings you the best of consumer and lifestyle advice - Jacqui Berkeley and Eamonn Holmes explore the latest Autumn/Winter fashions, Northern Irish money and the best of red and white wines and much more!

First issue of the episode is street safety, meet the resident's of Henderson Avenue, North Belfast, to find out their concerns over drivers using the street as a short cut. One parent, Gerry McCullough, in particular is especially concerned as his oldest son has been knocked down twice in the past couple of months, leaving his child in hospital for 8 weeks.

Over in CastleCourt, Jacqui introduces the "exciting new look" with long, streamlined jackets, colourful leggings and tartan being what the shops will be selling this autumn!

Next, Eamonn has taken a trip to Leeds to see how far his Irish notes will get him, unfortunately its hit and miss and back in the studio Alasdair MacLaughlin, Northern Ireland Bankers Association, and Cecil Walker MP, explain their reasons for wanting to keep the notes and wanting to see them done away with.

Lastly, Check it Out is here to help you find the best wine for the best price, with two local wine experts sampling unmarked bottles.
