However, some supermarkets, such as Marks and Spencer, have gone further, issuing their products with a definitive 'Use By' date. Alan Chambers of Dale Farm explains his company's choice of packaging information and their confidence in the consumer "discerning" for themselves, when it comes to food expiry.
Next the winner of the Check It Out make-over competition is revealed. It's Martine McLoughlin, a 26 year old from Randalstown who, after having her three children, feels she needs a change in style. During a shopping trip to Next, Martine picks out her special outfit. Her transformation is complete with a hair and make-up session. The results are shown at the end of the show with her family brought in to witness the reveal!
Lastly, Sheila Dundee, a breast cancer survivor, shares her story. She discusses her symptoms and explains what women should look out for and what is involved in the breast cancer screening process. in an effort to dispel any worries, she urges women to make an appointment to see their GP.
