Description

In this episode of Check it Out, Jacqui Berkeley and Eamonn Holmes explore the topics of car deals, manicures, swimming, weddings and more!

Darragh MacIntyre reports on new Ford car deals and how this is going to impact existing Ford car values. Speaking with car owner Paul Irwin, who has recently bought a new car at an inflated price, he states that there "must be something drastically wrong with the pricing structure". However, Nick Lindsay [Lindsay's car dealership], proposes that Ford are providing cars at prices that make their products accessible and, furthermore, it's a cost that people are prepared to pay.

Back in the studio, Jacqui is treated to a manicure by Karen Scott [beauty therapist], who tells us that the "long painted talons are out for the 1990s" and the French manicure is in!

In an earlier episode of the series, Check It Out's own Jamie Delargy had been taking swimming lessons, in an effort to cure his phobia of water. Whilst a recently missed lesson caused a set back, this episode finds Jamie getting comfortable with the water again.

Next, it's nearly time for Seamus Dickson and Catriona O'Neill's wedding. They have chosen the Leighinmohr Hotel for their reception. the hotel's Manager, Pat Falls, gives tips to any soon-to-be-wed couple, on the things to think about before the big day.

Lastly, with the spring season upon us, Jenny Kaka suggests picnic favourites which all the family can enjoy.
