Description

A deputation arrives at Stormont regards the Lockwood Report into the development of a university in the north west of Northern Ireland. This deputation is led by John Wesley Moore, a leader in the Coleraine Chamber of Commerce, and is pushing for the location of the university to be in the town rather than at Magee College in Derry.

Coleraine was recommended by the Lockwood Report and the university was built there although this decision remains controversial even today.
