Description

The new university has been named the New University of Ulster, and Dr Alan Burges talks to Robin Walsh about preparations to open the university. The naming of the university, like many other issues, threatened to be controversial. 

Dr Burges was an Australian botanist who became the first Vice-Chancellor of the New University of Ulster in Coleraine.
