Mr Bamberg of Eagle Airways talks to Jimmy Greene about running flights from London to Belfast and how his airline wants to expand the flights offered and challenge the monopoly British Airways has over domestic flights. 

Harold Bamberg was a wartime pilot who founded Eagle Aviation in 1948. Eagle Airlines became a successful short-haul airline. Bamberg was a travel innovator – the first to put in-flight meals on planes and to link a travel business with an airline. Unfortunately, financial difficulties and fierce competition forced the airline to close in 1968.
