Description

Preparing a commercial for British Eagle Airlines and gathering shots of the planes and Aldergrove airport.

Notes

Harold Bamberg was a wartime pilot who founded Eagle Aviation in 1948. Eagle Airlines became a successful short-haul airline. Bamberg was a travel innovator – the first to put in-flight meals on planes and to link a travel business with an airline. Unfortunately, financial difficulties and fierce competition forced the airline to close in 1968.
