UTV footage of a personal appearance by footballing superstar George Best at Connswater Shopping Centre in east Belfast. George was there to unveil a Ford Mondeo to the shoppers and also present – but not getting anything like the attention devoted to George – was the recently crowned World Indoors Bowls Champion, Jim Baker.
There is also an interview with George in which
he talks of his recent match for Tobermore United in the Irish Cup and how he
hopes to play more such matches in the future. He is also asked of his enduring
love for Manchester United and of the transfer speculation surrounding Bryan
Robson and Italian giants Juventus.
