Description

Liven up your mince to dinner party status! In this episode of Highdays & Other Days, Jenny Bristow creates six mince-based dishes including "not so down-to-earth shepherd's pie" and "exotic dinner party mince." This variety of dishes is guaranteed to make each moment mince.

The studio kitchen, backdrop to Jenny's cookery show, is the epitome of rustic charm. Here she prepares a range of dishes - varying in difficulty from the very simple to the most sophisticated - for special occasions. Whether it's Sunday lunch for the family, or a children's birthday party, or a picnic, or a formal buffet, Jenny provides you with a host of easy-to-follow recipes and tips.

Notes

Jennifer Ann Bristow is a Northern Irish cook and cookery writer. Bristow was brought up on her family's dairy farm near Coleraine. A former home economics teacher at Cambridge House in Ballymena, Bristow made her first television appearance on Ulster Television's Farming Ulster in 1989 demonstrating how to cook with potatoes, which led a producer at the station to offer Bristow her own series.
