Description

Ernest Strathdee interviewed the remarkable Mrs Harmon of Ballymacarrett in east Belfast. Born in 1880, she would have been twenty years old at the turn of the century and was eighty two when the interview was conducted. She talked of having fifty two grandchildren and thirty eight great-grandchildren. She discusses the great changes she has seen in her life, her memory of the original Troubles of the 1920s and speaks with great optimism for the future.
