Description

Meet Joey and Robert Dunlop as they tinker with a motorbike and talk about their shared passion in this short interview from 1981. Robert talks about his budding career as a motorcycle racer, Joey reflects on the successes and disappointments of the year past and David Wood, a friend and his manager, comments on their collaboration.

Notes

Joey Dunlop, one of the greatest motorcycling icons ever, died tragically in a motorcycle accident in 2000 in Tallinn.

Robert Dunlop, also an accomplished road racer, died in 2008 after suffering severe injuries in a motorcycle crash during a practice session at the North West 200.
