Description

Sound dips in and out.

A celebration of Northern Ireland's rich cultural landscape and the diversity found here.

Presented by Stephanie Hughes in the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, this night put on by Diversity 21 features various performers, such as the Ulster Youth Orchestra, Peter Corry who sings 'My Heart Will Go On', James Galway and Tommy Sands. Phil Coulter sings a song written about Joey Dunlop while the audience, and viewers at home, see clips of his racing triumphs.

Minister for Culture, Michael McGimpsey takes the stage to congratulate the performers on joining together in "song, dance, sport and remembrance", highlighting that this mutual respect shows off Northern Ireland's great legacy which he hopes is cherished and nurtured.
