Description

An interview by James Boyce with theatre legend Sir Tyrone Guthrie. Guthrie was an innovative and famous face in the world of stage companies around the world and also had a particular affinity with Ireland as the seat of his ancestral home. He would also serve as Chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast from 1963 to 1970. The discussion is a very philosophical one about what is the nature of live theatre.
