Description

In this episode of Lesser Spotted Ulster, Joe Mahon goes to north Fermanagh and explores Drumskinny area. This land of meadows, forests and rolling drumlins is perfect for long walks and aimless wanderings. It is an old fashioned landscape where people, not machines, work the land.

Joe Mahon joins local farmers and tries his best at turf cutting and other farming chores (not as easy as it may look). He also visits an intriguing garden of stone on the outskirts of Ederney - a creation of a man with seemingly limitless imagination. This unique way of exploring local histories would not be possible without the local people and their wisdom, warmth and wit.
