The decision has been taken to build the new Northern Ireland university in Coleraine. William McGookin and Mr Moore discuss the plans to create the university while standing in a field where the university would be built. There is also footage of Coleraine town centre.
Coleraine was recommended by the Lockwood Report for the site of the new University of Ulster and the university was built there although this decision remains controversial even today.
