Description

Scenes inside Greeves’s linen factory at Conway Mill in Belfast. Greeves’s produced linen to be sold all over the world. This is a fascinating look into the world of finishing and packaging the linen products.

This film also shows Donacloney Mill in county Down.

At this time, the Irish linen industry was in overall terminal decline although the sale of Irish linen as a luxury item has continued.

An Ulster Television Production.
