Description

The Queen Mother made an official four day visit to Northern Ireland in 1963 with a series of public engagements each day. On the same day she visited the Maze races, she also took time to inspect troops from the 1st Batallion of the 3rd East Anglian Regiment, of which she was Commander-in Chief, at the Ballykinlar military base near Downpatrick.
