A film by Samuel Bracegirdle, showing the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society Centenary Show and royal visits.

He shows the Mayor of Belfast, William Geddis on a  parade through streets of Belfast. The parade Included the Royal Navy, marines, floats and  people walking their dogs. There were floats about road safety and the emergency phone number. 

There is an agricultural show at the King’s Hall, showing horses and sheep.

We see Royal Day at Balmoral. Terence O’Neill. Princess Margaret and Lord Snowden attend

Samuel Bracegirdle was an amateur filmmaker from Belfast, his work dates from the 1950s to the 1970s. Many of his films show his home life and holidays with family and friends. He also took an interest in local history and Unionist heritage.
