Then Northern Ireland's Prime Minister, Terence O'Neill reflects on the results of the 1965 General Election.

Standing in front of a banner proclaiming "A United Ulster Cannot Fail," O'Neill discusses the diminishing of the NI Labour Party within Belfast and advocates for the historic strength of Unionism - that it represents a broad swathe Ulster life, "Town and country worker. The professional man, farmer and industrialist. We have never been a party of single class, or section."

The 1965 Northern Ireland general election was held on 25 November. Like all previous elections to the Parliament of Northern Ireland, it produced a large majority for the Ulster Unionist Party. This was the last election in Northern Ireland in which one party won a majority of the vote.
