Description

The Hard Border is a poem written and performed by Seamus O'Rourke during Brexit. 

Seamus O’Rourke is an award-winning writer, director and actor from County Leitrim. Colm Laverty is a talented filmmaker who has worked with the Digital Film Archive on projects including ‘The Bannfoot Ferry’ (2024),‘Translating Linen’ (2021) and music videos for Malojian and Documenta. 

Notes

This archive rendition of the poem was created for an exhibition of 'The Druthaib's Ball' by Array Collective in Galway Arts Centre in 2022.
