Description

Maurice Smyth on stage in the Grove Theatre to discuss the Welsh Theatre Company’s production of The Caretaker, by Harold Pinter. The touring company will also stage the play in Derry, Omagh, Enniskillen and Newcastle. He speaks to Roger Redfarn, the producer of the play. Mr Redfarn talks about the theatre company and the play and we see a rehearsal with Bruce Montague (who went on to appear in several television shows including Butterflies) and David Lyn. The play also starred another Welsh actor, Wyn Jones.  

Notes

The Grove Theatre opened on the site of the Troxy Cinema on the Shore Road in 1965.
