Description

Tom Jones is interviewed on his second trip to Belfast. He’s just recorded Thunderball, the theme to the James Bond film of the same name, starring Sean Connery. Maggie asks him some interesting questions about balancing stardom with married life.

Jones was a rising star at this point. His first big hit single, It’s Not Unusual, made 1965 the breakthrough year for him. And more than fifty years later, he’s still going.

Credits

An Ulster Television Production.
