Description

'Thomas Gibson Henderson was elected and admitted an Honorary Burgess (Freeman) of the City of Belfast in recognition of the outstanding public services rendered by him to the City during his period of Membership of the Belfast City Council extending over a period of 44 years.'

This short clip of Tommy Henderson and Sir Jenkins in Belfast Chamber shows Henderson receiving his reward for dedication and service. In his interview, Henderson reflects on receiving the Freedom of the City award from his colleagues at the Council.
