Alderman Billy Boyd is interviewed by William McGookin on a dispute within the Labour Party of Northern Ireland. Alderman Boyd is unhappy at being asked to sign a document of loyalty to the party under pain of expulsion.
Billy Boyd was a shipyard worker who became involved in the Nothern Ireland Labour Party. He was elected Belfast City Council in 1964 and remained a Councillor until 1977.
