Description

Workers at the newly-opened plastics factory, Resinoid & Mica, in Dundonald meet outside to discuss a dispute at the business. It appears that the relocation of the factory has caused problems.

The business only relocated from Reading in England to Dundonald in September 1965, employing 300 people. But by January 1966 it was in financial difficulty and by March 1966 it was in receivership and all staff were laid off.
