Description

Sadly, there is no precise date for this footage and, even more sadly, the soundtrack has been lost at some point. However, what survives is a fantastic look behind the scenes of the fledgling Ulster Television at a very early point after its launch. Two schoolgirls are given a tour of the Havelock House studios by children’s presenter Adrienne McGuill and television history enthusiasts will delight in the peek into the world of the control rooms as vintage adverts are played out live.
