This film features interviews, with questions asked by Lily, Clodagh, Nikita and Brooke from the New Lodge Youth Centre, to women connected to Bridge of Hope; women from similar areas but a different generation. The interviews explore topics such as childhood games, seeking joy, the struggles of the conflict, and how to reclaim hope in the midst of difficulties. Finally, the film concludes by hearing what advice the older women would pass down to a younger generation.

Belfast: Stories of Old, Retold, shows clips filmed in the New Lodge in Belfast including murals, tower blocks and memorial sites. This is integrated with clips from the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive, of children playing and landscape shots of Northern Ireland and urban areas of Belfast.
