Description

In this episode of Counterpoint Mike Nesbitt reports on the dawn of a new era for shopping in Northern Ireland. Sainsbury’s planned investment of over 100 million pounds and opening of six new stores is bound to cause a stir in the local retail industry. 

Back in the studio, Nesbitt and a panel of guests including Ian Coull [Director, Sainsbury’s], Marie Conaghan [MARC], Lady Anne McCollum [Consumer Council] and Bob Gourley [USDAW] discuss views for and against what’s shaping up to be a revolution at the checkout counter.
