The project brought together 17 A-Level students, aged 16–19, from five North Belfast schools representing cross-community and varied socio-economic backgrounds. Delivered over 11 weeks during the school term, the programme gave students hands-on experience across a range of film and television disciplines.

Participants explored craft roles including costume, prop and set design, special effects, as well as production roles such as camera operation, sound, lighting and editing. Students also developed acting and performance skills while gaining valuable employability experience through teamwork, communication and creative problem-solving.

As part of the programme, the students collaborated to recreate the famous chestburster scene from Alien, applying the practical and technical skills they had developed throughout the programme.
