Description

Gerry Kelly is back with a great line up of guests. To start off, the star of the ITV game show Bullseye, Jim Bowen, joins Kelly in the studio and talks of his fear of flying, work but also accepts Kelly’s challenge to an impromptu game of darts.

Other guests appearing in the programme are a former Liberal Party leader recently awarded a knighthood, Sir David Steel MP, and the ‘Green Goddess’ Diana Moran. Diana Moran talks about her work and returning to the screens having recovered from breast cancer. Joining on the phone live from Auckland is a fresh flyweight boxing gold medallist of the 1990 Commonwealth games, Wayne McCullough, briefly reflecting on his feelings shortly after the victory. In the last part of the programme, Gerry welcomes the new faces of the new radio station Cool FM, to chat about their new venture. The DJs in studio include Carolyne Stewart, John Kearns, Neil McLeod, Bill Kerton and the head of music & promotions, John-Paul Ballantine. The last guest of the evening is Shivaun O’Casey, an actor and director, who talks about her work, famous father and her professional plans.

The show also includes musical performances this time by John Hogan, Big Tom and the Mainliners, Brian Kennedy as well as resident duo Bacaan. At the end of the show Kelly gets kidnapped for student rag week but Steel and Bowen save the day and take it upon themselves to bring the show to a close.
