Description

Commissioned by Springboard Opportunities, this short animation reflects on Northern Ireland’s journey from a divided past to a more hopeful present, as told through the voices of young people. It highlights the impact of segregation, the progress made towards peace and the responsibility of the next generation in shaping the future.

As the first generation to grow up in peaceful times, these young people share their perspectives on unity, collaboration and overcoming new challenges together. The film asks a fundamental question: What kind of society do we want to create?

Springboard continues to foster connections between young people from across Belfast and Northern Ireland’s divided communities, challenging preconceptions and building a shared future.
