Description

This episode of the programme looks at dune ecosystems around Ireland. These ecosystems come under threat from both man and nature, and we see some of the ways in which erosion and other damage occurs. The programme looks at the need for detailed research to capture the complexity of dune systems and protect them properly. We tour some of the dunes of Northern Ireland and find out where they are being well tended - and where they are not.
