Description

A priest celebrating Mass in the chapel of St Joseph’s Training College on the Falls Road in Belfast. St Joseph’s was a training college for Catholic male teachers. The film shows the young men of the college attending Mass. 

Notes

St Joseph’s Training College was established as a Catholic men’s teacher training college in 1961, having previously been a branch of St Mary’s Training College from 1949. The two colleges re-merged in 1985.
