Description

Robin Walsh talks to Andy Barr about the prospects for shipbuilding in Belfast. Mr Barr is optimistic about the next six months. He can’t say what will happen after that. He is hopeful for improved industrial relations between the management and workforce. 

Notes

Andy Barr was a Communist and Trade Unionist. He was president of the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions from 1957 to 1978.
