Description

Elizabeth Shannon travelled the length and breadth of Northern Ireland and interviewed women from all walks of life. She found more commonalities than differences. Her subjects ranged from homemakers to teachers to prisoners.  She collected the interviews in her book: 'I Am of Ireland'.

This interview with Shannon covers her thoughts and feelings following publication of her book. She hoped to make the voices of women across Northern Ireland heard.
