Description

Mike Bull was a successful athlete from Belfast who competed in the pole vault and decathlon, winning the gold medal with the pole at the 1970 Commonwealth Games. At the time of this 1986 Good Evening Ulster report he had just won the BBC's fondly remembered Superstars competition, making him a very well-recognised face throughout the UK.

Bull had then moved into gym ownership and often provided reports for UTV on fitness, alongside sports commentary. In this report he moves around the various areas of a gym, showing how users are exercising or developing different parts of their bodies, before finishing off in the sauna.
