SPUDS stands for Simple Practical Ultimate Destressing. Based in Drumcree Community Centre, Portadown, the group aim to promote and support mental wellbeing and the importance of a strong social network in sustaining mental health. This film details the group’s work on a charity single named “Monkey Mind”. Led by songwriter, Susie Ingram, the band The Twisted Sisters, and joined by a choir of SPUDS members, the song is a lively tune that intends to raise money for charity. The documentary details the entire process, from inception to recording and shooting the music video. It’s a film that will leave you with a smile and the catchy tune playing in your mind’s ear.
