Description

This Ulster Television news story records the visit of the UK government minister, Julian Avery, to the famous Short & Harland aircraft factory in Belfast. For many decades it had played an important role in the UK aviation industry and Mr Avery had recently been promoted from Secretary of State for Air to Minister of Aviation and was keen to see the work being undertaken by a key part of the UK sector.
