Description

This short segment of the religious series Witness, is hosted by Rev. Jim Martin, who discusses how a care facility on the church grounds came about.

Based in St. Brigid's Church, Glengormley, Rev. Jim Martin, wanted to help a member of his congregation who was finding it difficult to care for her child who had disabilities. After praying one night, Jim realised that the answer was to build a place which would care for others in a respectful and homey environment. Through publicity and fundraising this idea soon came to fruition, and with the help and support of 'church people' the centre is a success.
