Description

This episode of Kelly features guests Nick Berry, Gary John, Jean Boht, Little Maggie Lee and King Creole, Rowel Friers, Bacaan, Robert Swan, George Hamilton IV and Kenny Lynch.

Nick Berry is the first guest and has just recently left Eastenders in pursuit of a theatre career. Following him is Jean Boht - best known for her role as Nellie Boswell in Carla Lane's sitcom, Bread. She discusses the flooding disaster in North Wales. Cartoonist Rowel Friers draws Kelly while chatting about his work with a charity that helps people suffering with cystic fibrosis. Bacaan play a tribute to John Lennon, who had been shot ten years ago to the day. 

Hoping to inspire young people to learn about climate change are Robert Swan, polar explorer, and two Irish students Kate and Gordon. Country singer George Hamilton IV shares his love of gospel music before the show concludes with Kenny Lynch discussing his career.

Notes

Rowel Friers was awarded an MBE in 1977 and was the President of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts 1993-1997.
