This short film from Express Yourself Café presents a storytelling event in which the group’s members use Russian nesting dolls, hand-painted with their own designs, to tell their stories. The storytellers take to the stage in the Black Box’s Green Room and recount their life stories, tales from their family life and anecdotes. 

Express Yourself Café is a creative community of adults with learning disabilities. The group’s aim is to express themselves by using art, and to foster social connections and friendships.
