Description

This short clips shows three women climbing up hill from tennis courts at the Mossley Sports Grounds, including Miss Nan (Ann Alice) Campbell. Nan, the woman in the centre, was John Dermot’s older sister.

The film was probably shot by John Dermot Campbell and it is part of the Campbell Family Collection.    
 

 

Notes

Mossley Sports Ground opened in 1927. Miss Nan Campbell served the first ball on the newly opened tennis courts as part of the official opening.
