Description

This charming roll call of the family animals includes a very relaxed Alsatian rolling about on its back while an older gentleman scratches it with a stick. A Jack Russell joins in, and the two dogs play tug of war with a rope. While the terrier lacks heft, it certainly isn’t letting go of the rope.

The film was probably shot by John Dermot Campbell and it is part of the Campbell Family Collection.

Notes

The older man who appears in this film might be Pat's father Joseph McConnell. He was MP for Antrim from 1929 to 1942 and lived in Glendhu house on Holywood Road.
