Description

This report covers the formation of a forum intended to help bring people with disabilities together with service planners and providers. The Down and Lisburn Disabled Persons Planning Forum  is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland, and aims to improve the quality of services provided to people with disabilities and to afford more agency to those who use them. Some of the forum members hold outreach sessions at various shopping centres to raise awareness of the issues that they hoped to address.
