Jackie Fullerton reports on Northern Ireland’s training camp in Albuquerque ahead of the Mexico World Cup in 1986. He speaks to manager Billy Bingham and several of the players about the problems of adjusting to the altitude with shortness of breath and nose bleeds among the conditions noted. There are also tales of how the ball travels quicker in the different air conditions.
